The Anywhere Fire Department is a currently made up of 34 career firefighters with Headquarters Company located at 50 Main Street. The station houses the administrative offices of the Fire Chief / Fire Marshal and the Deputy Fire Chief / Deputy Fire Marshal.

Assigned to headquarters are four (4) Lieutenants, who serve as shift commanders, and 28 firefighters. All of the career personnel are trained medical responders and eleven of the career members are trained to the paramedic level.

There are three (3) volunteer companies. They are Company #2 located at 600 Mohawk Drive, Company # 3 located at 2 North Colony Road and Company # 4 located at 45 Hall Avenue. The companies are allowed up to 35 volunteer firefighters and fire-police.

The companies are supervised through the Office of the Fire Chief. The Fire-Police division are supervised by a town wide Fire-Police Lieutenant. Fire-Police are supervised by the volunteer company Captains and fall under the jurisdiction of the Chief of the Department. The Anywhere Fire Department also has one (1) Administrative Assistant assigned to the department and to the fire commission.

The entire fire department budget for training programs $25,000. OSHA has recently visited the department and found that the department lacks any record keeping system. The fire officers acknowledge that training is not organized and there is no formal program. The Deputy Chief is identified as the Training Officer, however there is no time for him to conduct training with his other duties.

Each company trains separately and each of the career platoons train independently.
