Introduction: 1) Start with a thought provoking idea, quote, or question.
2) Give some summary about key themes and points that you have learned from your communications classes.
3)Narrow it down to some key ideas from speech 470.
4) Make your claim, which answers the question. Tell your reader about a meaningful idea or lesson you have learned in speech 470. Tie it back to your communications classes overall. Expand it into your career/educational aspirations for the future.

1) Start with an initial claim. tell your reader what you are going to be discussing in this paragraph. Maybe start with how this lesson has been meaningful to your personal life outside of careers/academia?
2) give some background information, evidence, and summarization. share your opinions about the ideas that have been meaningful. How did this idea change your world view?
