• Read the Burston and Tuckett and Jameton articles and others on the concept of moral distress. How does the concept apply in the practice of community and public health nursing? Be specific. Provide at least 2 different examples of sources of moral distress in community health/ public health nursing practice. NOTE- this is not about nursing in acute care settings.
• What specific actions could you take as an individual and as part of a group of community health nurses to decrease the distress perceived and felt? Be concrete. Justify this with research information. How would you evaluate the effectiveness of these actions to reduce moral distress?
