Think of a time when you had to search for information to answer a question or solve a problem outside of school. Maybe you wanted to find out if a book was worth reading or a movie was worth watching. Maybe you needed to find a new doctor or a new apartment. It could be as big or as small an example as you like.
As you think about that situation, think about the following questions and type out your answers below:
i. What sources or types of sources did you look to for information? (Specific websites? Books? Family or friends? etc.)
ii. Why did you choose those sources?
iii. Was there information you found that you didn't think was trustworthy or didn't convince you? If so, why not?
iv. Was there information you found that was trustworthy or that helped you make a decision? If so, why?
