Assignment: Whom to Contact? Whom to Consider?
While it is still early in your program it is important to begin thinking about where you might complete your program project and who could be your preceptor.
Consider the following:
1. Do you live in a rural setting? Minnesota
• What resources would you need to be successful in this process?
2. Do you have access to professionals in your discipline with your program preferably doctorates, who could serve as your preceptor?
3. Are you currently working in a health care or public health setting? yes
• If so, is there someone you could ask for guidance in this area? Yes
4. What skills do you need to be comfortable in an informational interview when you must secure the site and preceptor for your project?
5. What are at least three questions you plan to use in your leadership or preceptor interview for feedback?
Format your assignment according to the give formatting requirements:
1. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
