Signature Assignment- Personal Case Study
Each student will submit a proposed case study based on their own organizations or on an organization that is of particular interest to them. This is not a hypothetical case - you must have the authority and contacts to complete what you outline in your proposal.
Your proposal should include the following:
1. Brief overview of the company including the products or services they provide.
2. A list of the Company's competitors or others who provide a similar product / service and a brief discussion as to why they are competitors.
3. The people in the organization who would be involved in working with the team to support information requirements, and any connections that you have to them.
4. A short description of a particular situation facing the organization that requires strategic action or decision (we should clearly understand what the team will be helping the company solve).
5. If your case is selected, you will act as a team facilitator. What skills can you bring as a team facilitator to help the team complete their Strategic Analysis and Recommendation? Many students use these case studies to make a difference at their job or for a future business. Therefore, the selection of a case study is highly competitive. Please leave a separate confidential note when submitting your assignment if this is the case for you so I am aware of your situation.
6. Why you believe your proposal should be selected as a case study for the class (and any challenges the team may face).
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
1. The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
2. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
3. Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
