What should we do with social contract arguments

Problem

What should we do with social contract arguments if it is the case that they are premised on the racial contract? Is a theory of equality, liberty and justice any good to us if it embeds radical racial inequality in its conception of equality? Or can we write the racial contract out of the social contract, and rehabilitate the values of equality and justice in a particular philosopher's work?
