Why do we travel? What do you think? What causes us to travel, and what should we be most aware of when we do? Are there things that we can do/say/keep in mind to make our travel experiences more ethical or meaningful? Moreover, does our current moment living through a pandemic alter or add to any of your reflections on these questions?
Once you have finished the readings, think about what travel means to you. Why do you think people travel? And what do you think are the most important things for people to keep in mind if they're going to leave home? Post an idea to this Discussion post, making sure to support your ideas with at least two references/quotes from the readings by Pico Iyer, Thomas Swick, and Carl Thompson.
The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
