And discuss: What role did religion play in the history of the Ethiopian dynasty? You might address one or more of these questions: How did the religious beliefs influence the success or failure of the governments there? How did they contribute to connections and conflicts with the neighboring states? Did it increase or reduce the amount of isolation the state experienced? Use specific examples from the readings.
