Assignment task:
On August 10th, a virus swept across the east coast and we are lucky it only hit us now. This virus is deadly and it reanimates corpses immediately after death. We are calling these undead creatures ZOMBIES. If one gets its hands on you, it can transfer the virus to you. I'm working with the government on a cure that will save your settlement, but there's only enough for one group. What I need from you is an appeal in whatever specialty your group has. The appeal speech must answer the following questions:
- What rhetorical device does your settlement specialize in? Pathos.
- Why is your group qualified in your specific form of rhetoric?
- Who is your settlement's leader? Why are they qualified to lead you?
- Why does your settlement deserve the cure?
- What can your settlement offer to humanity as it falls to these zombies?
- Why do the other two settlements not deserve the cure?
- Address and disprove a counter-argument against your own settlement.
