Project Goal

· The overall objective of the presentation is to design and develop an effective Performance Management System to the 21st-century workforce by identifying the performance management system used in the past, identifying the current state of the performance management system, and revamping the current performance management system

· The company Sears has been selected for the presentation and will be supported by scholarly documentation.

· The presentation will identify and explain the six components of the performance management process 1.) Goal-setting process; 2.) rating scale and ranking system; 3.) evaluating performance; 4.) performance review documents; 5.) providing feedback and evaluation, and 6.) provide 2 issues that can affect the success of the process, and how the company could better utilize these systems to improve its current state.

Included should be introduction to hypothesis statement, robust literature review with studies related to topic, limitations of the studies, what suggestions were made from each study, the methodology used and conclusions showing implications to the 21st century workforce.
