What qualities would you seek in a judge who was selected to adjudicate a dispute between labor and management? Similarly, what qualities would you seek in an arbitrator or mediator selected to iron out differences between two adversarial parties? Would the qualities that you would seek in an ideal judge be dramatically different from those qualities you would seek in an arbitrator? Why or why not?
