Your home computing environment is well on the way, but there are still some important tasks to complete. One of the most important tasks is working with the files on your disk drive, and this project will help you with your understanding of the contents of your drive.
From your Programs menu, you will open Computer and explore the contents of your hard disk. What folders do you have directly on your hard disk (usually the C drive)? What purpose does the folder serve, and what kinds of files are in it?
The deliverable for this assignment should meet the following requirements:
Project should be completed using Microsoft Word.
Include a title page with the name and number of the course, the assignment ("Week 3 Individual Project"), your name, and the date.
Prepare a list of the folders you feel are the most important on your disk.
Include a short description of the folder contents and what purpose these contents serve. If you don't know, do a little Web searching, or at least take an educated guess.
Include a brief discussion of what you feel you learned from this exercise.
Be sure to cite all references in APA format.
