Assignment
The purpose of creating the team charter is to develop the foundation upon which your team will operate. The clearer a team's shared expectations and ground rules are, the more likely it is to achieve its objectives.
Your team charter is the basis of your accountability to yourself and each other. It is the contract in which you define what it means to be a member of your team and provides a path to your success.
1) How We Will Communicate
a) How your team will communicate with each other. List contact information for everyone, and the agreements you made about when (how often) and how (on what platform) you will communicate.
2) Team Member Skill Inventory & Roles
a) Identify areas in which individual members excel and contribute, and areas members want to develop.
b) Who will play what role in this team (refer to team project information for specific roles)?
3) Team Goals & Project Plan
a) What does this team want to achieve? An A, a C, best effort? How will you achieve this?
b) Who will be on each sub-group?
4) Barriers to Success
a) What are potential barriers to the achievement of your team's goals?
5) Conflict Management
a) What are potential conflicts that might arise among or between team members during this course?
b) How will your team deal with these and other conflicts?
