2. You have been exposed to cultural competency assessments thus far and will soon access assessments for other issues (such as disability).
3. Find an assessment tool that measures the levels of linguistic competence of service providers (in health contexts or other contexts).
4. Do some research on your own to discover what linguistic competence means and what it involves. Discuss a) how the assessment tool that you found can advance cultural competence and inclusion and b) how the tool that you found could be improved and c) how linguistically incompetent healthcare contexts impede care.
