"When in Boston, do as Bostonians do." The most important American football game takes place on Sunday, February 3, 2018, the 53th Super Bowl football game, starting at 6:30 PM (EST) on channel CBS and will be lived streamed. In addition, there are several sites at BU where you will be able to watch the game and get great food. The New England Patriots will be playing the Los Angeles Rams. It is a very important game to watch to get this American experience. I want you to do the following:
· Explain the saying from above - "When in Rome do as the Romans do."
· Watch at least 30 minutes of the Super Bowl game and write a short summary that includes the following:
o What position does Tom Brady (New England Patriots) play and what is important about this role in the game? What is his number?
o What position does Rob Gronkowski play? What is his nickname and what is his number?
o How many times have the Patriots been in the Superbowl? How many times have they won?
o Since you may not be familiar with American football, what does it look like? Write three to four sentences about your impression of the game.
o TV commercials during the Super Bowl are very costly and a very important part of the game. How much are the ads at the 2019 Super Bowl?
o What different type of commercials are there?
