Depending on the traditional lands, different plants and animals would be available; however the deforestation, contamination, decimation, and removal of people from natural lands have restricted access to a purely traditional diet. Or the abuse and neglect imposed on children and adolescents by residential schools. Hypothesize what physiological effect this may have (hypotheses can vary in topic from effects from: EDC contamination of traditional food sources; or stress of starvation; or difficulty accessing fresh fruit and vegetables compared to processed foods; or social subordination stress; or prenatal/ perinatal/postnatal stress).
