Select a major health problem in the United States for which technology is able to substitute for the pathophysiology causing the difficulty, the effectiveness of the technology, and the direction of future research for this pathophysiology problem. Each student should select a different problem to discuss. Before you begin researching, please briefly scan which problem others have chosen to write about. What physiologic functions are possible with the technology selected? How does the disorder you have chosen affect the individual's survival.
