What personality traits do leaders possess?
Do an Internet and library search to find biographies, case studies, or articles. You can use periodicals such as Fortune, Business Week, and Forbes. Choose two leaders whom most people would consider very successful and two who would be deemed unsuccessful. Briefly explain what makes them successful or unsuccessful. You may choose famous or infamous personalities such as Abraham Lincoln, Vince Lombardi, or Adolf Hitler, or contemporary leaders such as Roger Smith, Donald Petersen, Lee Iacocca, or Oprah Winfrey.
Question 1. Identify similarities and differences between the two successful leaders and between the two unsuccessful leaders.
Question 2. Are there some factors about the leaders you researched that might have predicted their success or failure before they achieved leadership roles? List and explain three such factors.
