What particular hazard is population vulnerable to

Problem:

Think about vulnerable populations you may be a part of, are familiar with, interact with, or have some effect on. You may interact with or effect these populations through your specific occupation, daily activities, community involvement, and so on. You may be familiar with them because they are part of your family, neighborhood, or friend group. Think about what makes that particular group, community, or population particularly vulnerable to environmental hazards and health risks. Once you have thought about those vulnerable populations consider the following: What population(s) did you think of? What is your connection to this population? What particular hazard is this population vulnerable to? For this particular vulnerable population (elderly, the poor, children, BIPOC, pregnant women, etc) how might we create policy to better protect them? What kind of intervention is needed? (individual, neighborhood, or national) And lastly, who do you think should be involved? (members of health professions, policy makers, etc).
