What nutrients will be needed for a balanced diet? (added to or deleted from) Milk and Milk products are the best dietary source of both Vitamin D and calcium.

Although green leafy vegetables are a good sources of calcium, some contain oxalic acid that binds to the calcium in that food preventing the body from absorbing it. Ex: are spinach and Swiss chard . Also if excess fiber (excess of 35 grams/day) is ingested calcium will bind with phytates (phosphorous compounds) in the fiber also preventing the calcium form being absorbed.

A lack of weight bearing exercises also can result in calcium absorption ( ex-walking)
