Homework: Nonverbal Communication Observation
In this critical thinking homework, you are asked to observe the nonverbal communication in a business setting. You could choose a Zoom session, Microsoft Teams session or another location where business is being conducted. While observing, pay close attention to the nonverbal communication messages being sent. Reflect on the following:
a. What nonverbal behavior did you observe and what information did you glean from these messages?
b. Are the verbal and nonverbal messages congruent?
c. How is the leader demonstrating nonverbal communication and is it helpful or not in facilitating communication?
d. Talk with at least one other person from the meeting to gather his/her feedback regarding the nonverbal messages being sent in the meeting.
Format your homework according to the give formatting requirements:
a. The answer must be double spaced, typed, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
b. The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the homework, the course title, the student's name, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
c. Also include a reference page. The references and Citations should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
