Your short report states how the company is doing. Your long report should propose, in thorough detail, what needs to be done in the future. Written to the head of the company, draft what can be done to continue success. Using your investigative research from your short report, transition towards an analytical approach while using appropriate language, and supporting visuals.
Remember to include all of the necessary sections, 4 tables or figures (listed in the list of illustrations, labeled, cited underneath and in the works cited list), five references (this can include any tables and figures you have- although your own pictures taken do not get cited in the reference list).
