Over-Population...What's Your take?
A few decades ago, we were warned of global starvation and ecological devastation due to possible human population explosion. Strict policies in China and India resulted from this proposed warning. As a result, world birth rates have dropped in recent decades.
Resource limits are not just a matter of population numbers but total consumption levels and use of technology have to also be considered.. Population numbers also have a critical impact on the environment. Demographers still don't know how exactly much more the world population will increase or decrease. Most believe that our population will stabilize at around 8-10 billion before the end of the century.
