The medicated child is a PBS film about the growing trends of medicalization children for mental health issues. The film serves as another introduction to the concept of medicalization of deviance. When watching the film, consider the pros and cons on using medical technology to deal with issues that are constructed as medical problems. There are two parts to this assignment, first provide two quotes or specific examples that illustrate the key points of the film.
