What might you do differently the next time you feel

Discussion Post: Motivation & Performance

Choose an event in your past that made you feel like you were out of control. What emotions did you experience as a result of the threat to your autonomy?

What behaviors did you engage in as a result? Did you try to seek out other ways to feel in control (i.e., reactance)? Did you give up trying at all (i.e., learned helplessness)?

Given what you have now learned in this chapter, what might you do differently the next time you feel like you are out of control?

The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
