Hiring new employees is a very important aspect for an ACS - the best people provide the best care! For the chapter questions this week you will read a lot of potential questions you could ask a new employee. Your assignment involves you determining how you, as the ACS administrator/manager would want someone to answer the question - be careful with the assignment
You are NOT to answer as though you are applying for the job - you are to determine how you, as the person conducting the interview, would want the interviewee to answer. This is a very important distinction for the assignment. Address these points in your responses:
1. What should the person say? What would you consider a good answer to your question?
2. What might they say that would cause you concern about their ability to fit into your facility's environment and culture? What types of responses might make you unsure about hiring the person?
3. Explain why you believe the question is one that should be asked in an interview for your facility.
