1) In the field of Cyber Security and Cyberwar it has been reported that nation states launch cyber attacks frequently, on a daily basis. Given that there is such provocation, what measures should be implemented to prevent a cyber attack or warfare from escalating to a shooting war?
2) What kinds of sabotage attacks could be detected and minimized by a coordinated national effort to place defensive software on Domain Name Servers and internet nodes? Describe how such attacks would be mitigated by smartening the internet in this way.
3) Given the real threat of cyberwar and cyberterrorist attacks, what would you consider the greatest threat to our national security? Has there been a successful break of our national security in recent history (2-3 years)?
