o The creation of healthcare policy in the US is an intricate process. Lobbyists play a major role in that they voice the concerns for those who may not be able to do so. Lobbyists, whose roles are to represent the interests of the people, do not always seem to do what their role suggests.
o What measures can be put in place to ensure lobbyists' self-interests are put aside and their proposals to Congress are in the best interest of those who they are representing?
