The scenario - It is the year 2040. A Space Station is in a circular orbit at 450 miles above the Earth. The Station has experienced a problem and needs immediate assistance. You are part of a rescue crew sent up to assist. You are currently in a circular orbit at 250 miles above the Earth. What maneuvers can your crew perform to arrive at the Space Station quickly and in the most efficient fashion? Feel free to include equations in your response to help explain the maneuvers.
I chose to discuss using the Hohmann Transfer and have been asked to go into more detail showing how to convert miles to km with equations and then calculate the burns (Delta_Vs) needed?
