Therefore, the utmost care, planning and considerations must be taken to ensure that they are ready when needed, and only used under the strictest of supervision and controls. The President of the United States (POTUS) is the only person who can authorize their use. The POTUS must communicate this order to a military operations center or the launch site itself. First, analyze this problem then provide a response that includes these 4 sections/response at minimum:
1)What are the exact requirements for this communications to occur. Think about all the different places the POTUS could be at any given moment.
2)What are the top three (or more) risks that could stop this process describe the scenario and the potential impact. ?
3) What level of redundancy would you recommend for this situation?
4) Describe the process and tools(Hi Tech and low-tech) you would use if you were the person in charge of maintaining this capability. Include the human assets as well.
