What lessons were learned from the great depression

Problem

After the world pulled out of the Great Depression of the 1930s, many forecasters expected a repeat of that decline after World War II. Now, the chances of another depression of that duration seem extremely remote. What lessons were learned from the Great Depression that presumably will not be repeated?

The response should include a reference list. Double-space, using Times New Roman 12 pnt font, one-inch margins, and APA style of writing and citations.
