This is a case study about Houston, TX. I need to address the challenges listed below and make recommendations to the city about the emerging technologies. Many urban development and planning topics link to transportation. The paper should at least answer the following questions:
• What are the challenges confronting your city client?
• What are the exemplary smart-city cases to address the challenges?
• What lessons and experiences can we learn from the cases?
• What are your recommendations to your city client about the emerging technologies?
Challenges:
• Houston's urban sprawl seems to be non-ceasing.
• The city's light rail system is rarely used.
• Houston does not enforce zoning laws.
