Reflect and Write: Locate one concept, term, or idea presented in Chapter 7 and search for it using one of the NCTC library databases. Discuss the concept, term, or idea you searched, why it interested you, and give a brief description of some of the sources you located. This is meant to give you practice using search terms within the library databases and to give you a better idea of the kinds of academic sources that exist. Consider:
What kinds of journals came up as a part of your search?
Were there any books or news articles that were listed?
What general information about the subject can you glean based on this preliminary search? Possible topic ideas include "Hangul" or "Globalization in Korea" but you can look for anything that interests you. Experiment with your search terms, if necessary.
