You are the HR Generalist for a small hospital facility in Wikieup, AZ. After reading this article (attached here:EI to reduce workplace stress.pdf ), you decide it is time to initiate a few changes in your organization. Your nurses are constantly in conflict and your provider staff members (the doctors) are extremely disrespectful and mean to support staff (including you!). Errors in patient care are on the rise, turnover is double the industry average, and it is difficult to attract replacement or additional talent, given your rural location.
1) What kind of workplace hazards exist in a health care organization, like yours?
2) What changes or course of action would you suggest to address those workplace hazards and move the organization in a more positive direction going forward?
