For this discussion I would like for you to start by viewing a short TED-talks YouTube video "The best stats you've ever seen | Hans Rosling" that you can link to from the Sup 3 folder. The talk is delivered by a statistician Hans Rosling, and it deals in part with statistical data that can help you visualize and relate to some of the issues surrounding global health. Drawing on the readings as well the video, identify and describe one social determinant of global health (determinants of health include a whole range of social, economic, and environmental factors that influence the health status of individuals or populations). What kind of an intervention in global health policy or services or other social factors can have a positive effect on that determinant?
