Assignment: Philosophy of Teaching Statement: Professional Growth Plan
Instructions
The philosophy of teaching statement is presented in five sections: conceptualization of learning, conceptualization of teaching, goals for students, implementation of the philosophy, and professional growth plan. In this course, you will develop your own philosophy of teaching statement. This week, you will focus on writing your implementation of the philosophy section.
Task:
Using knowledge gained from your orientation course, observation experience, your own personal experience and credible, current literature, address the following questions:
1) What are your short-, mid-, and long-term goals for your teaching career?
2) What challenges might you encounter on your professional journey and how will you overcome them?
3) What is your vision for the future of education?
Format your assignment according to the following formatting requirements:
(1) The answer should be typed, double spaced, using Times New Roman font (size 12), with one-inch margins on all sides.
(2) The response also includes a cover page containing the title of the assignment, the student's name, the course title, and the date. The cover page is not included in the required page length.
(3) Also include a reference page. The Citations and references should follow APA format. The reference page is not included in the required page length.
