QUESTION #1
Many of Jesus's teachings seem to be advocating pacifism, or at least some form of non-violent ways of life (Matthew 15:11). There are a few teachings, however, that seem to tolerate (Luke 22:36), and perhaps even encourage (Matthew 10:36), violence. Many Christians throughout the centuries have interpreted Jesus both ways. What is your opinion? Is Christianity an inherently violent or non-violent religion?
