What issues regarding the refugees are you familiar with (journey before they get to the U.S. or other host/receiving countries, barriers they face that affect their health, issues, and obstacles they face after they arrive in the U.S.)?
1. Do you think Congress should increase or reduce the quota for the different countries, particularly Ukraine (most recent crisis)? For example, the allocation for Ukrainian refugees has been set to 100,000. Should this quota be the same for all the sending countries?
2. Do you think the treatment and discrimination against the refugees are based on the diverse factors we have covered? If yes, which factors?
3. It is a valid point about receiving countries having scarce resources. For example, it is reported in the video that Moldova is resource-constrained.
