Discussion: Web Security Scanning Ethics
As part of a personal learning exercise, you decide to learn what some web application scanner tools can find on your company website. You discover several vulnerabilities when you do so. First, should you have been doing the scan in the first place? Why or why not? Second, what is your obligation now that you have discovered issues?
