Project: Part 1 - Professor and Student Interview

Professor Interview:

You will conduct an interview with a current college professor (other than the instructorfor this course). For this part of the assignment, ten questions have been developed for you to ask about specific strategies that help college students manage their time, their life, and their studies. This assignment must be 4 pages.

See Appendix A: Professor Interview Questions

Student Interview:

You will interview a college student enrolled in any type of higher education setting (community, college, university). The age of the individual does not matter so this can be an 18 year old freshman or an adult learner.

For this interview, you will develop 6 questions to gain a better understanding of the emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs of college students. Include the questions and a summary of the responses from the interview in a 4-page paper.

Note: The total page length for this assignment is 8 pages when you combine the Professor Interview (4 pages) with the Student Interview (4 pages).

APPENDIX A: PROFESSOR INTERVIEW INSTRUCTIONS

You will conduct an interview with a current college or university professor to seek information about specific strategies that help college students manage their time, their life and their studies. You must explain the requirements of your assignment and ask permission to take notes or to audiotape the interview, as you will then record the professor's answer in quotes.

List each question and then give the professor's response underneath each question in a double-spaced typed format. Responses should be rich and detailed and all 10 questions should be answered. It is appropriate to use first person language throughout all parts of this assignment.
