The case study for Chapter 12 gives you the opportunity to assess and reflect upon your conflict response style. Open the attached Thomas-Kilmann Conflict Mode Instrument, complete and interpret the survey, and answer the following questions:
1) What is your dominant style? Reflecting on a recent conflict in which you were involved, in what ways is this assessment accurate or inaccurate? Explain.
2) What are some of the benefits that result from using this style to resolve conficts? What are some of the disadvantages that result from using this style to resolve conflicts?
3) What additional style(s) of conflict response would you also like to foster and why?
The case study must be typed and no more than one page in length.
