What is your biggest concern moving forward as a psychology

Problem:

As we talked about at the beginning of the course, this class is designed differently than the rest of the courses you'll take here at TAMU-SA: it is not content based, it is skills based. The skills you've learned this semester monitoring your progress to success will hopefully help you for years to come. Several of you have come to me one-on-one for skills help, which was fantastic!

Everyone got the chance to learn more practical skills to help them out either making it through college or getting ready for their future career. Here are a few of the myriad of skill-based topics we've discussed all together as a class:

  • goal setting
  • resume building activities
  • social facilitation and presentation skills
  • taking charge of your degree and academic planning
  • academic honesty
  • important scientists in your field
  • disciplines in psychology (research vs applied)
  • degree path planning
  • social connection and frame of mind as success tools

The Semester Reflection Paper is broken into five questions. Each question can earn up to two points on your score. Questions are graded on completeness of answer so please try to give support and examples from your own life just like you practiced in your Study Plans.

Please note:

While scientific examples are greatly appreciated, they are not required for this assignment.

There is no need to worry about APA citation unless you want to practice, just make sure your paper has an appropriate Introduction and Closing paragraph and good cohesion. Your completed

Reflection Paper should be no longer than one page.

Questions to answer in your Semester Reflection Paper:

1. Did the regular Writing Objective Assignments help me? Why or why not? Were you able to set and monitor your own goals? Need Assignment Help?

2. Pick an area from the list of topics above. Why did you find it helpful to discuss this topic?

3. What is your biggest concern moving forward as a psychology major? (Choose earnestly: this question is used to improve the course and will help benefit future students.)

4. What will you take with you from this course to help you the most in your future university/career success? Did you find a job area/area of study?

5. What is my biggest take away from the course overall? Which part will I keep coming back to/use again?
