Problem
Baby boy Michael was delivered via vacuum assisted vaginal delivery after a 2 hour second stage. At delivery the nurse notes the following: color pink with blue hands and feet, heart rate 150 bpm, strong cry, well flexed, responds to bulb syringe with sneezing and gagging. The nurse also notes a swelling on baby Michael's head that extends across the saggital suture line.
