1. what is V Axes Diagnostic. The V Axes diagnostic system is used throughout the mental health system to provide an accurate, objective review of the evaluation completed by a licensed clinician. When complete, as you can see from our text, the V Axes diagnosis provides a complete picture of the client/patient. Identify one of the uses of this diagnosis. Explain why this specific use is valuable.
2 V Axes and Cultural Issues. As with all mental health issues, a culturally specific view of the V Axes diagnostic system is essential. Identify one cultural issue that might be misinterpreted without that culturally specific/sensitive view. Discuss how that misinterpretation would create problems for the client/patient and therapist.
3. Accurate diagnosis. Accurate diagnosis is essential to the well being of the client/patient in the mental health system. Outside of cultural issues, what issues in the system itself do you feel might impede accurate diagnosis? Why?
