The unidentified health problem is most common in the southern United States, in states such as Louisiana, North Carolina, Mississippi, Texas, and bordering states. In terms of age, it is most widespread in the 20-24 age group, followed by the 14-19 age group, and then the 25-29 age group. The percentages appear to be higher between the ages of 15 and late 20s. Non-Hispanic Blacks have the largest prevalence in terms of race and ethnicity, accounting for around 5% of the total. Mexican Americans come in second with little under 3%, while non-hispanic whites come in last with 0.5%. The prevalence percentage by sex shows that women were more affected than men.
