Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) is the physical device which is a disk drive that is considered as the single logical unit in the operating system. Raid technology is used to present the redundant array of independent disks and also improve the performance of the disk. The main function is to fill the gap between quick processors and slow disk drivers. There are different RAID level systems in that RAID level 2 is uses hamming code in small strip format to detect the errors and corrections. Hamming code is an algorithm that helps to add the extra bit to data and correct the single and double-bit errors. The data transfer rate is significant but the I/O request rate is poor in the error correction method by hamming code.
The advantage of RAID level 2 is that if any malfunction happens then only one bit will be affected and the changes for data can be corrected quickly (Mchoes, 2017). The controller device is easier than compared to other RAID levels and the disadvantage is that it is expensive and the transaction data doesn't have enough space in a single disk. I suggest using an alternate RAID 10 system, RAID 10 level uses several drivers which benefits the data transactions and also increases the data accessibility.

What is the type of cloud computing the company uses? SaaS, PaaS, IaaS etc.?
The google workplace is a Saas platform. Saas platforms are managed by a 3rd party vendors and they use the internet to deliver the application service. This is one of the most commonly used cloud computing systems.
Amazon Web Service is a IaaS, IaaS is highly scaleable, and my company is able to purchase the services on demand depend on our needs, which is a plus for smaller companies like us to control the cost.
And PaaS platform can be used for application creation. It is cost-effective and straightforward to use. Also, high scaleability depends on the need.
As a start-up company, we try to control the cost by choosing AWS and purchase the functions on demand. Also, because IT is the core of our company, we are able to justify the cost to make sure we have the tools to help with the company's growth.
