Following the completion of the investigation of a potential fraud case, you are informed by your manager that the case will be brought to trial. As part of the litigation process, you will be asked to serve as an expert witness, with the results of your analysis included in the court case as evidence. Assuming that this will be your first time serving in this role, research the following questions and develop a post summarizing the results of your research:
A. What is the role of an expert witness in a trial?
B. How should you prepare for your testimony?
C. Is it appropriate for you, as an expert witness, to provide your opinion of the situation based on your analysis?
