Select a past document you wrote in a common business or technical genre [one of those in the Alred, Brusaw, and Oliu readings from the curated content], and, using the descriptions of that genre's key audiences, purposes, contexts, and features, along with your understanding of your organization's unique approach to that genre, write an analysis of your performance. Include, at minimum, the following details:
• Audience: [including primary, secondary, and tertiary]. Include descriptions of your audience[s] and how you chose to address them based on what you know of them.
• Purpose: What is the primary function of this genre? Include any special, unique uses and features of this genre in your organization.
• Context: Describe the situation in which your audience was reading your document. Include both practical factors such as the physical setting and sociopolitical factors that may have impacted how they read your document.
