1. Find an article about this topic. It may be one that includes a balanced discussion of the issues, or it may argue for one side. It might promote a position with which you agree or with which you disagree.

a. Write a summary of the article that is about 50-100 words.

b. Answer the following questions about your article:

i) What is the perspective of the author of your article? Does he or she have a bias about your topic? If so, what seems to be the source of the bias?

ii) Does your article cover the topic in a neutral and even-handed manner or does it favor one side of the topic?

iii) Do you find your article credible or not? Explain your answer.

c. Include a link to the article or attach it to your posting.
